| As you can see from my status, I'm pretty upset at what is happening in San Diego right now with this stupid permit crap. If you haven't read the article yet here it is http://www.facebook.com/ext/share.php?sid=100521562520&h=I5qoD&u=i0x-3&ref=nf The gist of it is that this couple was having a bible study in their home for their friends to get together and study the bible and learn more about God. Apparently the county of San Diego thinks that they can determine what parts of the bill of rights to actually follow in their county because they think that you shouldn't have the freedom of religion. County officials told Pastor David Jones and his wife Mary that they can't hold a bible study at their own house without a permit. When the heck does anyone have to have a permit to do anything in their own house?!?!?! Let alone when it involves religion, isn't that a freedom that the constitution protects?!?!?! Aparently San Diego county is exempt from following basic US law.
Christians, this is a small step towards losing your freedom of religion in America, and if any Christian isn't on their knees before God every day praying for revival in this land, then our situation is going to get worse. It's only going to get worse for Christians too because if you ask anyone who works for MSNBC, CNN, or NBC for their opinion of Christians they will say that Christians are scum (I had to keep my words G rated because the real words are much more vulger). If you aren't serious about God and spreading the gospel of truth that comes from the Jesus found in the bible then A) You need to before the real trials and tribulations hit this planet or B) You aren't a Christian and you need to find someone who is so they can introduce you to the man who can make your life so much better than it ever could be. Bad stuff is coming and we need to be prepared for it.
The last thing I have to say about this and it is a bit anti-climactic is that if the government were to decide to start requiring permits or taxes of religious institutions, Jesus said this in Matthew 22:21, "Give to Caesar what is Caesars, and give to God what is Gods." To me that says a couple of things, because if you read the verse in context the goober Pharisees were trying to catch Jesus in his words by asking trick questions. They asked if it was ok according to Jewish law to pay taxes to caesar or if they should focus on God instead. As I thought about this verse after reading the fox news story I said "Wait a minute, yeah it would be great if churches didn't have to pay taxes and if the government would stop messing up people's lives, but God is God, stupid rediculous taxes and fines and even laws can't stop the Lord from working." Barack Obama (WHO IS NOT A CHRISTIAN, if you believe he is then you are believing a lie) himself can ban everything Jesus Christ on American soil and God's will WILL still be done! period, end of story.
However, (this is the pro climactic part), it doesn't mean that Christains should stand idley by and let all of this stuff happen before their very eyes! The lord put all of us here for a reason! and that reason isn't to let apathy and/or fear keep us from participating in his plan! We gotta stand up for the Lord right now! He doesn't forget those who call on His name and He Will rain down blessings on those who help further His plan. The lord created us to worship Him and part of worship includes crying out his name (Luke 19:40, "If they keep quiet, the rocks will cry out). The lord will use us or he won't, He will carry out his plan with or without us. If he calls you and you don't answer he will send someone else and someone else will recieve your experience and YOUR blessing! Don't miss out because the lord calls all of us to account on judgement day! Get on your knees and pray! It's interesting how so much victory occurs when you're on your knees praying than when you're on your feet with your chest stuck out doing what you think is best. Who would've thought that total surrender brings victory? Be a part of the Lord's victory today!

| This morning I was reading an article about Steelers owner Art Rooney II being nominated by President Obama to serve as the Ambassador to Ireland and I was ho hum about it since I do NOT like our current president, however, I am very happy for Mr. Rooney because he has served the Steelers organization very well for years and deserves such a nomination for his work and activism in the black community as well as other groups of people.

I really don't need to elaborate much on this stuff, but I will say that it is interesting that the ethnic group that abolished slavery (white people) is such a bad group when black people as a matter of fact, were human histories first ethnic group to use slavery! And on top of that, who is the first group to cry racist when any honest criticism of a non white person is made? BLACK PEOPLE!!! Why the sensitivity folks? Why not engaged in honest discussion? Why not disagree? For goodness sakes you can't even say that Black people are better athletes which is extremely true without getting branded a KKK member! Positive stereotypes are thrown into the same boat as negative stereotypes . . . . . . *scratches head.*
I think if "race relations" are going to get any better in this country, we have to take the word "race" out the equation and just talk as regular people. My best friend in middle school was a black guy, I freakin love the kid to death to this day, in addition to all of the other black people that I'm friends with. We never had any issues due to race because we just talked as regular people who happened to be of different races. Let's get rid of the sensitivity folks and stop assuming that just because white people may criticize a black man that the white person is racist! Barack Obama is apparently untouchable when it comes to criticism based on his skin color. Is that not racism as well? In addition to an extreme level of sensitivity in a country that prides itself on unsensitive political discourse? Let's have a little more guts when it comes to this stuff guys, if you can't take criticism then don't play the game, and when you're criticised, you're not being hated or discriminated, you're being critisiced based on the topic of conversation, which most times, is not race. | In the last 12 months we've heard a lot of crap from various sources (Talking heads, newspapers, cable news networks, your best friend, internet blogs, your mom) and some of it has gone unchallenged for one reason or another. Maybe it's because American's have fallen asleep and forgotten that they have a brain and common sense, maybe it's because the word socialism isn't as bad as used to be in the minds of many, or maybe, just maybe, George Bush, Sarah Palin, and anyone else who calls themselves Republican (GASP) or conservative (Man those guys HAVE to be psychos!!!) are just mentally handicapped. Either way, here are the top "ten" myths about this "bad" economy and other stuff that is just plain stupid!
1. Barack Obama will not "Fix" the economy
I'm going to be hung from a cross by my feet for saying this, but it's so true. Our "savior" of a President does not have the money nor the responsibility to fix this struggling economy, which isn't really struggling (more on this later). Let's review the job of the man in the oval office. The President is supposed to A. Direct our military in such a way that we aren't bombed or attacked by anyone B. Sign cool pieces of paper (called "bills") into law C. Create a cabinet of advisors and to grant pardons or reprieves D. He can make treaties and appoint federal judges as approved by the senate. No where in there does it say that Uncle Barack is supposed to give you money so that you can keep buying things you can't afford, with money you really don't have (Obama is borrowing money from China, what is he gonna do when China tells him to pay back some of this 3 trillion that he's planning to get from them?), in order to gain the approval of people you really don't like. If America wants it's economy to thrive again, each and every American needs to manage their finances correctly (by living on less than you make for starters) and that alone will help the stock market to prosper, after that we need to pay off the national debt which is possible if we cut the national budget like freakin crazy and stop borrowing from CHINA. That will increase the value of the dollar and the economy will naturally correct itself.
2. The economy really isn't struggling as much as you think it is
Before you jump on me and call me a hypocrite, I said that the economy was "bad" in my last point because I needed to speak some of the language that so many of you are using now so that you would understand the connection I was making between a bad economy and folks not managing their money correctly. Truthfully a down economy (or a bear market) is a natural part of a capitalistic system even if it happens by unnatural means like corruption on wall street or in our own government (THANKS BARNEY FRANK!!! If you don't know who he is, learn who he is because he is a big reason that the housing market is struggling right now). Eventually as it has done before, our economy will climb out of this and we will survive and the sky will stay in the sky. As I said before, you need to manage your finances correctly or you will be struggling regardless of the state of the economy.
Secondly folks, how much is the economy REALLY affecting you? Gas prices are lower for one, and yes I know, food prices and health care costs have gone up (Obama is not gonna be able to help you there either) yes, but instead of blaming outside sources for YOUR problem, why don't you rip out your monthly budget (you do live on a written budget right?) and just see for yourself how much price drops and increases have adjusted in the last six months to a year. Now most Americans spend a lot of money of entertainment and other things that they don't really need (like ipods, movies, fast food, video games, etc.). I would bet a lot of money that if you cut or eliminated all or part of your entertainment budget for six months, you would have a buttload of cash in your bank account and not a care in the world. You might also be able to pay off debt REALLY fast by doing this. Think about it.
3. There is no such thing as Job Security
This age old term has been around for a long time and most people actually believe that it still exists. Most people in the this country would define a secure job as a 9-5 J-O-B that they hate, and it pays them a set amount all year round. They assume that you just gotta do your work, you'll get paid, and their's nothing else on the line with you or your managers. But, what happens when you get called into your boss's office and they let you go because of that dreaded word: "Downsizing" even if you were one of their most productive employees. It happens, and it happens more than the corporate world leads you to believe.
A better way to live is to think this: "Your job is only as secure as your ability to leave the cave, kill something, and drag it home"- Dave Ramsey (If you don't know Dave, then go to daveramsey.com and learn about this guy). Thinking about this statement and applying it to your life will really change how you view work and how hard you work.
So whats my point? People, we need to get back to our good ol American roots and remembering that we the people have the power in the palms of our hands. The actions of the government and the actions on wall street do not have as big an effect as we think they do. As I've said before, we have to stop listening to the negative crap that the network news is telling us every single night!!! It's like some of you are hooked up to an iv and the letters CNN or MSNBC are printed on the bag!!! Chill out, change the channel to FX or ESPN and just take care of yourself! If you do that first, the slowed economy won't even register on your radar and if it does, you'll be able to handle it with composure. | Hey guys,
I hope you're enjoying your weekend and taking some time to get some R&R if you can. I work two jobs over the weekend but I still understand the importance of just kicking back and relaxing in the midst of a culture that has turned its back on rest. I'll digress on this topic for now, because with the election two days away, I want to focus on something much more pressing.
I am really distraught at the crap that is going on in American politics these days. Two things in particular: The lack of (or more appropriately for Joe "The socialist" Biden) the REFUSAL to engage in civil public debate. Number two is the fear of more true Americans to stand up and defend the policies and statutes that have defined and maintained the strength of this nation for so long. We have a lot of scared supporters of basic american building blocks and these time tested ideas are being beaten with a sledgehammer of wealth redistrubution and "Fairness."
First, I'm going to address the angry Joe Biden and his stupid comments to a fair and honest reporter and then I'll talk to the people who have been scared into silence by the media that is DOMINATED by liberal idiots. I am also going to reveal how the democratic candidates are very comparable to the British government that was holding America hostage prior to the Revolutionary war some 200 years ago. I have a statement to make before I do any of that though. A statement directed to all of the liberal idiots who aren't going to like what I'm about to say because for one, my speech is not going to be politically correct, and two, I don't care one bit if I am not supporting my arguments with scientifically or historically based facts or not. If you want my statements neatly wrapped in APA style citations, you're not gettin em so tough luck. All I need is passion and a warrior's heart, not books and a history degree so spare me your verbal vomit.
Ok, now that the dorks have been shut up and sent to the back of the room, lets talk about WHAT REALLY MATTERS. First off, Joe Biden is a moron and here's why. He talked to Orlando Reporter Barbara West of the Orlando TV station WFTV channel 9 and she asked Biden if Barack Obama is a marxist because of his wealth redistribution plan. Biden insulted the woman by saying "Are you joking? is that a real question?" and went on to blabber on about how Obama wants to give the middle class the tax breaks that they used to have. West later asked him if his comments about obama being tested early would indicate that he thinks America's days as a leading world power are over and he said "I don't know who's writing your questions but let me make it clear . . . . " He went on to babble a little more with big elaborate statements that fail to answer the question completely.
The interview and the things that Biden said don't bother me, Biden can act like the moron that he is if you wants to but what really displayed his moronic mind what happened after the interview. He told the station that the Obama campaign is not accepting any interviews with that station for the rest of the campaign (yes, this type of thing does matter even if there was only a week left in the campaign at that point).
The Obama campaign shutting out that media outlet reminds me of government censorship of open and free comments of people who disagree or want to investigate the claims of controversal people and their policies. IT IS A RIGHT guaranteed by the 1st amendment of the fricken constitution!!! If you don't want to answer questions about your policies then you shouldn't be running for president/vice president (yes this includes obama because obama is the head of that campaign). It is a dangerous thing for such a huge percentage of the American people to be supporting a campaign like this.
If this president was elected when he is rejecting interviews and shutting out media outlets, who's to say that someday people like Obama and Biden may someday take their rejection act one step further and take these freedoms away? What will you protest planning liberals do in a country where you could be shot on site for even speaking a word against any policy that the government supports? Call me a crazy person, but this stuff has happened before and crazy rebels have taken action against it (like our founding fathers, the people who kicked out the unjust british some 200 years ago) with glorious success. However, these revolutions and culture wars can't be won without people who are willing to stand up and fight against them. These revolutions that I'm talking about will be covered in a second, but right now I need to make one more little point about this retreat from debate that is happening nationwide.
I was in a gym a couple years back and I saw one of my friends that just so happens to be a HUGE liberal supporter (no she isn't fat you goobers). We somehow started talking about politics (or at least I said one sentacne about politics) and she said "No, I'm not talking about George Bush" and gave me a look like she was gonna kill me if I said another word that wasn't democrat or liberal. Because I chose to keep my friendship intact instead of my usual boldness, no debate or even discussion occured. This, my friends (or foes, if you don't like me) is not good one bit and really illustrates how bad the Obama campaigns actions against this news outlet really are.
Debate is what this country is founded upon, freedom of speech (HEY, another freedom granted in the bill of rights!) is what makes the U.S. flavor of government the top seller at any ice cream shop. It caters to the human spirit of freedom and openess (something that the liberal hippies of the 60s LOVE to spin in circles about . . . . NAKED). But if you don't use it (or worse yet, REFUSE IT) it slowly starts to erode away like a doller bill that has been in circulation for 70 years, it gets weak and tears and eventually, becomes as frail as tissue paper and is thrown away or turns to dust. THIS IS WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO AMERICA IF CONSERVATIVES AND LIBERALS, REPUBLICANS AND DEMOCRATS, OIL COMPANIES AND ENVIRONMENTALISTS do not have debate and open discussion!!! It will result in the destruction of our awesome country as we know it! And no, this isn't a crazy idea from a guy who has watched too much Fox News (you folks probably don't watch enough balanced coverage anyways).
Another thing that differing groups need to do is to grow a backbone and stop running to carebearland when someone is nasty to you during a discussion!!! A lot of people shut out the arguments of another because "They're mean" or "They interuppt me" or "They aren't open to my ideas." Well guess what folks, these are all statements made by people who don't know how or refuse to use passion and inspiration in their arguments. IT IS PART OF THE GAME FOLKS, just like injuries and athlete's foot, PEOPLE GET NASTY WITH THEIR DISCUSSIONS/DEBATES and nasty or passionate statements should not divide those who receive them!
If my friend is debating with me and tells me that I'm a F***ing moron for what I believe in I would still not hesitate in taking that friend out to lunch or to a party (something I did for my roomate last year even when we pissed each other off a couple times) without hesitation. it's called agreeing to disagree people and it should happen at all levels, soft or nasty. If you can't shake hands after having a spirited debate then you shouldn't be debating; you have a self esteem problem. Fix it, and shake hands! Alrighty, my first clip is done, time to reload and fire at my second victims . . . .
Where the heck are the other people (not named Rush Limbaugh and Mike Gallagher) who are opposed to the stuff that the liberals of this country are spewing?
IF you want your country to stand firm through all the muck that has been thrown around about YOUR country, YOUR livlihood and YOUR money, YOU need to stand up and 1) Vote, 2) VOTE 3) VOTE 4) send angry letters to any liberal media outlet not giving enough/fair coverage of positive conservative stories/people AND d) Speak up when someone around you bashes time tested American statutes! Tell them to shut up and tell them why they should shut up! Tell them that they are ruining the country that is giving them the right to protest a JUST WAR, an AMAZING PRESIDENT, and a GOOD COUNTRY that has given them more power than they will ever understand from their lazy boy recliner! Tell them why AMERICA is AMERICA, a country that is to be taxed only enough to help build a strong military and a free country protected from dangerous people like Bin Laden and the president of IRAN (don't care about his name so spare me).
Tell them that the U.S.A. is a country that is to support Israel and allow the rich to keep their money because the rich are the people who invest money into their companies and others and THAT is what creates jobs! not checks sent to poor people that don't want to work their way to wealth like most of the rich in America (no you idiots, most of the rich in this country did not inherit their wealth, they worked their butts off for 50-60 hours a week building it, one drop of sweat at a time, check out "The Millionaire next door, the surprising secrets of America's wealthy" if you don't believe me). If the poor want to be well off, they need to WORK themselves into it like the rest of the well off have done.
So to you who don't wanna talk politics, that's fine, the people like me who do and who want to make sense will keep what a lot of you have tried to take away, like our freedom to question the liberal media and OUR MONEY. For those of you who do want to engage in spirited discussion, bring it hard or don't even try.
This is your country America, don't let anyone take it away from you, WE ARE FREE, let's keep it that way, WE ARE THE U.S.A.!!!
